BC Luxury Adventure Travel | Helicopter Safaris at Siwash Lake

Immersive helicopter tours to the Fraser River Canyon and Jasper in the Rocky Mountains — private, airborne wilderness safaris to remote areas where wildlife, rich history and First Nations culture abound!  Join us for these custom day trips to Nature's sacred places; to sites seldom seen and steeped in high adventure. These helicopter safaris are once-in-a-lifetime adventures guaranteed to create stories you and your loved ones will cherish together always.

This sparsely populated chunk of BC’s heartland has a magnetic appeal, where a remote swathe of the mighty Fraser River cuts through semi arid country like a northern Grand Canyon and where the Cariboo Gold Rush reached a feverish peak in the 1870’s. The Marble Mountain Range lays a 20 minute flight to our west, and the Rocky Mountains are just over an hour's flight to the east. Our resort at Siwash Lake lays poised atop the magnificent Fraser Plateau, the ideal base from which to explore some of western Canada's best kept secrets by private helicopter!

Canadian Rocky Mountains Private Helicopter Safari

See the Canadian Rockies the way they were meant to be seen. This world-class private helicopter experience will take you soaring above some of the most spectacular sights of Jasper National Park.

Enjoy a full day adventure tour by helicopter to the Rocky Mountains from Siwash Lake. On this glorious round trip between Siwash and Jasper, you'll gaze down at snow-capped summits, turquoise glacier-fed lakes that glitter like gem stones between jagged scree slopes, and alpine meadows brimming with wildflowers.

Throughout the flight you'll be scanning the landscape for movement. Far from civilization, you'll enjoy watching wildlife in natural habitat. You'll have a bird's eye view from high above — while hovering at a discreet and respectable distance — of animals such as moose foraging in wetlands, and big horn sheep perched atop craggy outcrops. Keep your eyes peeled for Grizzly bears!

This private helicopter tour for two to four passengers flies over a magnificent mountain range and dense forests and features three hours of air time interspersed with immersive experiences on the ground.

At the turn-around point, your pilot and guide takes you in for a close-up look at hanging glaciers before heading  to a secluded mountain Pass where you set down at approximately 7,000 feet to savour a delicious sky-high picnic — surrounded by alpine flora, small lakes and towering peaks.

This remarkable setting offers breathtaking vistas and is a perfect place for celebrating  special romantic occasions; ideal for wedding anniversaries and marriage proposals!

Off-the-beaten-path in western Canada lays the last frontier of British Columbia. BC’s Cariboo is perched high on an interior plateau of rolling Cascadian landscape, rich with rivers, lakes and grasslands. Bounded by snowy peaks and animated by a history of gold seeking and cattle ranching, this land is within the traditional territory of the Secwepemc First Nation. Siwash's Helicopter Safari to the Fraser River Canyon celebrates a powerful Indigenous presence in the region.
